100 days

So I just noticed my little baby ticker (aka sarcastic baby) says there are 100 days to go until my due date. I'm not sure whether to say Hooray!!! or EEEK!!! :)

Treehouse Cottages Year 4

Last week Greg and I took our annual trip to the Treehouse Cottages in Eureka Springs. Leaving was somewhat bittersweet this year since it was our last getaway before the little one makes

his/her arrival. We did have a wonderful time! We explored through town a little more and went to Turpentine Creek Animal Refuge. Hopefully it won't be the last time we get to visit!

Update

Sorry it's been a while since I updated. I put the latest 2 growing tummy pics up. I am hoping that next week I will have more to update. We are putting the finishing touches on our house decor AND going to vacation next week. So after all of that I will post some more pics.

Busy Day

Yesterday was a busy day in our growing family. First we went to close on our house. Greg went off to work for a few hours and I went out with my mom for a bit. She's been taking a photography class so she took some pictures of me (see above pic for my favorite). When Greg got off she took pictures of us. They turned out really good! Then it was time for my favorite part of the day...our ultrasound! It was so neat seeing how much our baby has grown. Both of our moms got to come with us which was really nice. Everyone was good and closed their eyes when the tech was looking at the girl or boy parts. We are holding strong and not finding out the gender of our little one. After they measured everything the tech said everything looked great! Baby is even measuring a bit larger than expected. I just hope that doesn't mean I'm going to be giving birth to a really big baby in October! She made a DVD for us that shows the face and heartbeat and little one moving around. It was strange to see it moving so much and only feeling a little bit of it. Greg isn't able to feel it moving around inside me yet, but he was happy to see it moving on the screen. Soon enough I'm sure we'll both be able to feel him/her all the time! After the ultrasound we stopped back by to pick up the keys to our house and went over there to take some measurements. We will be moving little by little over the next week or so then finish moving over Memorial Day weekend. I'm very excited to move over there. I think it will be the perfect place to raise our baby. By the time all of that was finished we were exhausted and came home to have dinner. Such a busy day filled with exciting things!

4 Years

Yesterday Greg and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. We did not really do much last night but tonight Greg is making steaks and we are going to watch a movie! I did get some perfume, flowers, and a card. I got Greg a new shirt and a card. It's funny because when I opened my card it was a card I ALMOST bought for him! We have good taste! Only 2 more weeks of school and it will be tiring because after Tuesday we'll begin moving. We'll also have a new picture of our baby next week! Here's a picture of us on our special day yesterday.

Flutters

Going into week 17 I realized that I am feeling baby kicks! Of course they are not very strong and kind of random, but they are there! It's very exciting! My tummy is also getting quite poochy. I am very happy to own some cute maternity clothes because I was running out of things to wear! The most exciting thing coming up (besides the ultrasound and new house) is registering for baby stuff! We are going this weekend to register at Target and BabiesRUs. Feel free to have a look! :)
